About

A short route and one make of appliance

Viking Repair HQ Los Angeles works four neighbourhoods and one manufacturer's equipment. Both of those are deliberate.

Viking builds its ranges around a porcelain burner box, brass sealed burners and a single spark module; its refrigeration lives on airflow through a condenser in the base or the top of the cabinet; its dishwashers hide almost every fault in the water path rather than the electronics. Knowing that before arriving is the difference between an hour with a meter and an afternoon of guessing.

The route is short for the same reason. Silver Lake and Los Feliz on the reservoir and Griffith Park side of the hill, Studio City and Sherman Oaks over Cahuenga. Four neighbourhoods is a working day with slack in it, which is what makes a slot this week a real answer instead of an optimistic one.

How a visit works

  1. You describe the fault on the phone and read the model and serial off the rating plate. The likely parts are loaded before anyone sets off.
  2. Flat $89 service call covering the visit and full diagnosis, credited against the repair once you approve it. Panels come off, meters go on, and you are shown the fault rather than told about it.
  3. You hear the repair price and what it buys before the work starts — the usual ranges are printed on each repair page. If the answer is that the machine is not worth the repair, you get told that too.

What we do not do

  • No contact forms and no email chains. The phone is answered 24/7, and the booking page takes a slot directly.
  • No prices quoted over the phone from a symptom. A number before the diagnosis is a number someone is going to have to change later.
  • No selling replacement appliances. This is a repair shop; if the sensible answer is a new machine, we will say so and leave you to it.

Licence and cover

Licensed, bonded and insured. We provide our licence number to customers on request.

Viking Repair HQ Los Angeles is an independent service business. It is not affiliated with Viking Range, LLC; the Viking name appears here only to describe the equipment we work on.
