Worth checking before you pay anyone

1. Pull the base grille and look at the condenser fins. Grey and furred means the machine is already fighting before anything has actually failed.
2. Close the door on a sheet of paper and pull. If it slides out with no drag at any point along the run, the gasket is finished and the door is the fault.
3. Feel whether it is only the fresh food side that is warm. A freezer holding solid while the fridge drifts is an air or defrost fault, not a dead compressor.
