The five-minute check
Begin at the panel. A breaker can trip as the supply comes back, and one that appears to be on may be sitting between positions, so push it firmly off and then on. Next, see what the appliance has forgotten: clocks, timers, temperature settings and an ice maker switch can all wake up at a default rather than where you left them, so put them back before deciding anything has failed. Open and close each door once to check that it seals and that the interior light behaves itself. Stop at that point, because everything beyond a switch or a setting is our side of the line.
What needs a few hours before it means anything
